Mushroom Strudel
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in oil. Sauté mushrooms, garlic, onions, and parsley for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add dill, and sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cool completely.
Parchment line a baking sheet. Melt the remaining butter. Place a sheet of filo dough down and brush with melted butter. Repeat for a total of 5 layers. Spread half of mushroom mixture on dough leaving enough space on the ends to tuck in. Loosely roll (jelly roll fashion) and tuck the ends under. Brush the top with melted butter. Make 4 to 5 diagonal slashes on top of the strudel. Repeat for second strudel.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 until lightly browned. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Yield: 10 servings (2 strudels)
